A House Divided

John Harrison - 26-Jan-2011
The Campaign for an Independent Britain has delivered a copy of its new booklet A House Divided, which asks whether Parliament can serve two masters - the Nation and the European Union -  to every Member of Parliament and Member of the House of Lords.

It is introduced by Phillip Hollobone MP with foreward by Lord Stoddard of Swindon and contains a brief history of the EU from its inception as the European Coal and Steel Community to the present European Union. It tells of the lies and deceits perpetrated in order to gain public support, the loss of parliamentary sovereignty which has taken place and was delivered to every single member of the House of Commons and House of Lords so that the members were fully aware of the powers that they have lost.

A House Divided makes clear just how much power has already slipped out of the hands of the British people, how much faster the process of EU integration has become since the Lisbon Treaty, and what must be done if we are to save what remains of the UK’s sovereignty, democracy and freedom.

A House Divided is a seminal work which is provoking a great deal of thought in Britain's political establishment and is absolutely essential reading for everyone who cares about democracy and the rights and liberties of the British people.

A downloadable version costing £2.50 or a hard copy costing £3.00 including postage and packing are available from www.johnharrison.co.uk/_catalog_33567/Publications.

Your MP has received a copy of it and you could help our cause a great deal if after you have read it, you send it to your MP and ask him/her for his/her comments on it. The more constituents who write, the more likely an MP is to take notice.

You can contact your MP at:

House of Commons
London
SW1A 0AA

and I'd be very grateful if you send a copy any comments that you get to Campaign for an Independent Britain, 78 Carlton Road, Worksop, Notts, S80 1PH
Thank you for your help.
