Qdos has guidance regarding the announcement of an extra bank holiday for the forthcoming royal wedding. As the announcement does not increase any entitlement to holiday under the Working Time Regulations, the decision regarding whether an employee will benefit from an additional bank holiday will be entirely dependent on the wording of their contract.
