John Harrison - Principal

John joined the practice from school in 1968, qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1972 and became a partner in Allotts in 1975, buying the Worksop office from them in 1989 so that he could carry on a sole practice. He specialises in improving profits of small businesses, is Treasurer of the Campaign for an Independent Britain and is a keen football fan. John is married to Anne, a teacher, with two children Victoria and Tristan.

Joe Warburton - Senior Accountant

Joe came to us from Wales High School, Kiveton in February 2008 where he studied Accountancy, Mathematics and History at A-Level. He is a senior accountant within the practice, and has qualified with the Association of Accounting Technicians. He is presently studying to become a member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accounts.

Matthew Smith – Semi-Senior Accountant

Matt joined us from the Worksop Post 16 Centre, in 2013. He studied Mathematics, Business Studies and P.E at A Level. He is now studying for his Association of Accounting Technicians at North Notts College. His duties mainly involve accounts preparation, bookkeeping and payroll.

Elizabeth Rawlins – Practice Manager

Elizabeth joined the practice in 2017 and has studied her Level 2 of Association of Accounting Technicians and is currently studying for her Level 3 whilst working as a Practice Manager learning the ins and outs of an accountant and gaining valuable experience, whilst also working alongside John as his Personal Assistant ensuring the work flow of the office is consistent and tidy.

Kirsty Moody – Marketing Administrator

Kirsty joined us from the University of Central Lancashire, Preston in 2017. She has studied brand promotion, marketing and social media for three years. Her duties mainly involve Social Media, blog updates, mail shooting, monitoring marketing letters and following up on emails, letters and calls.

Faye Walton - Accounts Apprentice

Faye has joined us directly from Wales High School, Kiveton in 2017. She is working towards becoming a qualified accountant with us. During her first few weeks with us she has become the youngest accredited Xero cloud accounting advisor in the UK - ever at the age of 16.
