It begins with a telephone conference to discuss in detail the processes that exist in your business that generate income, gross profit and costs.

Then we carry out a Financial Performance Review and benchmarking exercise, ideally covering a three-year period. It shows the key ratios and trends in your business in an easy to understand graphical format and using established analytical procedures shows what is working well financially and where improvements can be made. It also shows us the amount of profit improvement potential that there is in the business.

The data is then transferred into some unique software, which shows your Profit Improvement Potential by altering some of the Critical Success Factors of your business. Using a series of “what if” scenarios we are able to help you select the strategies which will maximise your profits.

Then we analyse turnover into its constituent parts either by product or by customer (or both) so that we can see where revenue is flowing from and what gross profit margins there are in each part of your business.

We then create a detailed financial model of the business showing the sources of revenue, gross profit, overheads and payroll costs. This is used to create a financial plan for the forthcoming year, together with an action plan showing exactly what you have to do to achieve your target profit. We also produce a cash flow and profit forecast, forecast balance sheet and monthly and quarterly figures to check progress against.
